    How is it used?
    The Danolite™ light was designed as a helmet mounted light for nighttime mountain biking. It has many other uses. It may be used anywhere a lightweight, high powered, high quality, portable light source could be used such as running, camping, cycling, XC skiing...etc.

     
    How is the Performance?

    Light: The Danolite™ light has similar lighting capability to a 10 watt halogen light. The XP has over twice the light output in a broader beam.

    Weight: Nothing else comes close. At 18gm, the Danolite™ and XP light unit weighs less than the mounting bracket for other helmet lights. The battery pack weighs 190gm.

    Runtime: The Danolite light runs for 2.6 hours. The XP runs for 3.6 hours. Carry extra AA batteries and stay out all night!

    Who is Dano?
    Dan Surkis is an electronics engineer, a cyclist and a musician. Dan has worked in the aerospace and consumer electronics industries. He has designed award winning, high end audio components under the mark levinson™ brand. He is an avid bicyclist and he plays guitar for the surf-rock band The Clams.
